Leann Connolly BSc REPs

Leann is a highly motivated and dedicated Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer, who applies total commitment and enthusiasm to all that she does. After graduating in Chemistry from Leicester University she joined corporate life in research, sales and management training before joining the fitness industry 10 years ago. She first trained as a Personal Trainer specialising in Pre and Post Natal after having her first child. She has run her own business and taught in clubs since 2000.

Leann fell in love with Pilates from the moment she attended her first Matwork Pilates Course and now teaches it full time. Her enthusiasm and passion is clear to see in every mat class and private session she teaches. She has become a specialist in Pilates working closely with Physio referrals and clients who have specific goals to achieve.

Areas of Specialism: Core stability and Pelvic Floor / Back pain and post operative rehab / Posture work / Hip, glut, shoulder strength / Pre and Post Natal / Breast Cancer rehab.

Narelle Mangham BSc Grad Dip Ed, Level 3 Mat Pilates certified

Narelle has been involved with pilates for over five years, initially as a student and more recently as an instructor.

After experiencing lower back pain post-exercise, Narelle consulted a physiotherapist who suggested she try Pilates. Narelle attended a class once a week and within 6 weeks was pain-free. Her exercise level improved, as did her posture, strength and flexibility. An added bonus was a trimmer waist and a flatter stomach. The effectiveness of the pilates method in Narelle's life encouraged her to train as an instructor, enabling her to pass on the amazing benefits to others.

Narelle's aim is to make Pilates very client-focused, yet accessible to everybody. Each client has personal goals and these goals are taken into account when planning lessons and progressing clients towards a positive result.

She has recently introduced a Pilates for Men class and is hoping to encourage teenage girls to embrace pilates as a way of improving posture, flexibility, concentration, relaxation, general body image and self-esteem.

Narelle has a Bachelor of Science Degree (majors in Physiology & Biochemistry) and a Post-Graduate Diploma of Education. She is a Level 3 mat-based qualified pilates instructor.
